Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before your first Partida. Account, KYC, payments, disputes, security.
Account & KYC
How do I create an account on GamesP2P?+
Go to /auth, enter your email and create a password. You'll receive a verification code via email. Once verified, your account is active. To participate in real-stake Matches, you must complete KYC (identity verification) — this unlocks withdrawals and grants you 0.5 USDT welcome bonus.
Why is KYC mandatory?+
KYC protects the GamesP2P community against fraud, multi-accounting, and money laundering. We verify your identity with an official document and selfie. Your data is encrypted and stored in an isolated system — it is not shared with third parties or used for advertising. Without KYC, you can practice in Free Matches but cannot withdraw USDT.
Can I have multiple accounts?+
No. One account per person. KYC detects multi-accounts (same document, same device, same recurring IP). If we detect multi-accounts, all except the original are suspended and funds are frozen pending investigation. This policy protects the integrity of the ELO ranking and tournaments.
Can I change my Competitor name?+
Yes, once every 90 days. Go to Profile → Edit. The name change is recorded in public history (to prevent identity fraud). ELO and achievements are preserved.
Matches & Rules
What games can I play on GamesP2P?+
Currently: Domino 1v1 and Chess 1v1. Both are 100% skill games — no luck involved. On roadmap: Parcheesi, Checkers, Backgammon (the latter with no-dice variants). The Canon rule: if a game has RNG that affects the outcome, it doesn't enter GamesP2P.
How do I choose who to play with?+
In the Lobby you have three options: (1) directly challenge an online Competitor from the active players zone; (2) create a room and share the link or invitation code with whoever you want to join; (3) join an existing room via link, code, or from the list of active waiting rooms. You can filter by ELO range (to avoid very unbalanced matches), by stake amount, and by time control (in chess).
What happens if I disconnect mid-Match?+
You have 60 seconds to reconnect. If you can't, the Match is resolved as an abandonment and the opponent receives the pot. If the disconnection was due to GamesP2P infrastructure failure (server crash, confirmed bug), the pot is returned in full to both Competitors. The system automatically detects the cause.
Can I play for free without risking USDT?+
Yes. You can create Matches with a 0 USDT stake to practice. These matches don't affect your ELO ranking or generate commissions. It's the best way to warm up before real-stake Matches, or to try the system with no commitment.
Wallet & Payments
What blockchains does GamesP2P support?+
BSC (Binance Smart Chain), Polygon, and Arbitrum. You can deposit and withdraw USDT on any of the three. We recommend choosing the network with the lowest gas fees at the time of your transaction. Your Wallet is non-custodial: you control your private keys via MetaMask or compatible wallet.
How do I deposit USDT?+
Go to Wallet → Deposit and select the network (BSC/Polygon/Arbitrum). You have two options: (1) MetaMask deposit — connect your wallet, enter the amount and confirm the transaction, credited in seconds/minutes. (2) Manual deposit from any other wallet (Binance, SafePal, TrustWallet, OKX, etc.) — send USDT to the address shown on the platform, copy the transaction hash and paste it in the form; the system automatically verifies on the blockchain. Minimum 1 USDT. We charge no deposit fee — you only pay the network gas.
How do I withdraw USDT?+
Go to Wallet → Withdraw, select the destination wallet (must be previously saved in your profile) and enter the amount. The minimum withdrawal is 10 USDT. Withdrawals are processed within 24 to 48 hours. Maximum limits depend on your KYC level: KYC 0 cannot withdraw, KYC 1 up to $1,000/month, KYC 2 up to $5,000/month, and KYC 3 no monthly limit. Without verified KYC you cannot withdraw (but can play with your balance).
Is there a commission per Match?+
Yes, GamesP2P charges a total 3% commission on the pot, divided as follows: 2.5% for the house (infrastructure, servers, development, dispute resolution), 0.25% for the sponsor (if applicable, referral program), and 0.25% for the Grand Bounty (accumulated pot raffled among active Competitors). The commission is deducted from the payout, not added to the stake. Free matches (0 stake) generate no commission.
Security & Disputes
Is it safe to keep USDT in my GamesP2P Wallet?+
Your GamesP2P Wallet is non-custodial: you control the private keys via MetaMask. The balance you see on the platform is an on-chain mapping — we don't hold your funds centrally. For maximum security, withdraw to your personal wallet when you're not actively playing.
How are disputes resolved?+
If a Match ends ambiguously (simultaneous disconnection, board bug, rule conflict), either Competitor can open a dispute. The system automatically reviews the board state, Match logs, and canonical rules. If automatic resolution is unclear, a Canon Custodian (human) reviews within 24h.
What do I do if I suspect my opponent is cheating?+
Open a dispute from the Match history, mark 'Suspected cheating', and describe what you observed. The system analyzes patterns (suspicious latency, impossible moves, detected multi-account). If cheating is confirmed, the cheater is suspended and the pot is returned to the honest Competitor.
Does GamesP2P have a responsible gaming program?+
Yes. You can self-exclude temporarily or permanently from Profile → Responsible Gaming. You can set daily/weekly/monthly deposit limits. If you feel gaming is affecting you, contact us — we can freeze your account for 30 days no questions asked. Your wellbeing is a priority over any Match.
